Tickets may be purchased online, in person or by telephone. Payment may be made by Visa or Mastercard, or in cash.
Visit www.chethams.org.uk to book online. For most events, you may choose to print tickets at home, collect them at the Box Office, or have them posted to you for an additional fee of £2 per order.
Book by Telephone
Call 0333 130 0967 to book by telephone. Phone lines are open from 2-4pm Monday to Friday (except bank holidays), and from a minimum of 30 minutes, and usually one hour, prior to each public event.
Calls to Box Office are charged at local call rate.
Book in Person
You can buy tickets for Chetham’s Library events at The Stoller Hall Box Office from 1-2.30pm, Monday to Friday (except bank holidays). The Box Office is located on Hunts Bank (postcode M3 1DA) opposite the steps to Manchester Arena. During term time, the students of Chetham’s School of Music also give free Lunchtime Concerts daily at 1.30pm – why not drop in and pick up your tickets at the same time?

A Box Office will also be set up in Chetham’s Library for ticket purchases and collection on concert evenings. This will open a minimum of 30 minutes, and usually one hour, prior to each public event.
Until Friday 24 May 2019, a booking fee of 9% applies to all tickets booked online or by telephone to events across Chetham’s. Tickets bought in person will not incur booking charges. This fee will be capped at £4.50, and fees will be included in the prices listed online or in print.
From Friday 24 May 2019, revised booking fees will be applied to all tickets for events taking place on or after Monday 12 August 2019, based on the price of each ticket.
From Monday 12 August 2019, these revised booking fees will apply to all events taking place across Chetham’s.
50p for tickets costing from 1p to £6
£1 for tickets costing £6.01 to £17
£2 for tickets costing £17.01 and upwards
Fees will be included in all prices listed online or in print.
If you would like to have your tickets posted to you, an additional fee of £2 per order will be charged to cover the costs of postage.
When you book, you will be invited to add a voluntary contribution to Chetham’s. Any contribution you choose to make helps to support The Stoller Hall, Chetham’s School of Music and Chetham’s Library with capital and operational costs. You may choose to Gift Aid your donation at no additional cost to you.

In brief, by booking any ticket via Chetham’s, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
- Tickets are non-refundable except in exceptional circumstances.
- Proof of ID may be requested, including proof of any concession claimed.
- All ticket holders aged 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
- We reserve the right to refuse admission to ticket holders whose behaviour may affect the enjoyment of other audience members.
- Recording, photography and filming within the event is forbidden, and mobile phones and other communication devices should be switched off unless otherwise instructed.
- Latecomers or audience members leaving the auditorium may not be readmitted until a suitable break in the performance.
In addition, bag checks will be in operation for most public events. Large bags or cases will not be permitted onsite and we reserve the right to refuse entry. View our full security guidelines.
Our online Box Office is managed using Ticketsolve, and payments are processed through Realex. All orders – including those made by telephone or in person – will be processed through these systems.
