Following successful events in 2021 and 2023, Manchester’s medieval faire returns to Chetham’s Library this September!
Join us in celebrating Manchester’s medieval history with a unique day of fun for all the family. Come and be thrilled by keen-eyed birds of prey, entranced by historical re-enactors from Historia Normannis, and entertained by lively medieval performers; peruse our vendors’ stalls, and enjoy the spectacle of the medieval fashion show and tournament!
The faire will run from 11am to 4pm on Saturday 27th September, and entry is free – simply show up at the gate! It will also be possible to book tours of the library on the day at a cost of £5 per person.
