Pomander Workshop
This history of the Pomander goes back as far as the Middle Ages. Made from fruit and spices, it was once used as a protection against disease and bad smells, and has now become a symbol of winter festivities.
Join us in the Old Kitchens for a cosy craft session, and learn how to make orange pomanders and the fascinating history behind them!
Hot drinks and nibbles will be provided.
Suitable for adults and young people aged 11+.
For visiting and accessibility information, please see our website.
All proceeds go towards supporting the library.
