A concert of historically informed performances by students from across the school, within the 600 year old setting of Baronial Hall.

Please note – as this concert takes place in the Baronial Hall, please arrive at the Chetham’s School of Music entrance on Long Millgate half an hour before the concert starts, where staff will show you to the venue.

Programme

Fresh from their appearance at the London International Festival of Early Music, this is another opportunity to hear Chetham’s Early Music Ensemble perform works by two of the most celebrated German composers of the eighteenth century. The concert features Bach’s timeless Brandenburg Concerto No.4, and works for solo, duo and trio sonata ensembles.
