Join us from 10am for a behind-the-scenes look at life in the UK’s largest specialist music school.
Whether you’re thinking of applying to our wonderful school, looking to learn more on behalf of your talented music students, or simply interested in seeing what we do, we look forward to welcoming you in Manchester.
You are warmly invited to meet our students and staff, tour the school and its unrivalled music facilities, and sit in on rehearsals in Stoller Hall and practice rooms.
You will have opportunities to have all of your questions answered by our Joint Principals and expert team of teachers — from applying and joining our Middle School (Years 9–11) or Sixth Form (Years 12–13) to boarding or becoming a day student, and from financial help, catering and weekend activities, to our world-class music and academic education.
New for October 2025: Come and play, jam and sing! Bring your instrument with you to Open Day and make music with current Chetham’s orchestral, jazz and vocal students to experience life at this inspiring institution first-hand. To ensure that we can include you in these sessions, please make sure that you are booked onto the Open Day by Wednesday 8 October.
