Due to extreme tiredness and pain in her arms, Patricia Kopatchinskaja is forced to withdraw from the upcoming performances with Manchester Camerata with a heavy heart.

‘To regard him simply as a huge talent is not enough; there is an element of pure genius in this young man’ – Harald Eggebrecht, Süddeutsche Zeitung

We are, however, thrilled that the amazingly expressive and incredibly talented Jonian Ilias Kadesha is free to join us for concerts in Manchester and Leeds. A committed chamber musician bursting with imagination, Jonian is always searching for something new, which is why he’s a natural collaborator for Manchester Camerata. A regular collaborator with recent Camerata artists such as Martha Argerich, Pekka Kuusisto and our very own Gábor Takács-Nagy, we look forward to welcoming him and sharing a slightly amended programme of Biber, Ligeti, Mozart, Bartók and Haydn.
