Members of the Magnard Ensemble (flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and French horn) will spend the afternoon with the wind & brass students of Chetham’s School of Music, covering the various aspects of being a professional musician in today’s world. In the Chamber Music Masterclass, they will focus on in-depth exploration of wind chamber music repertoire and presentation skills.

Since 2012 the Magnard Ensemble has built a reputation for delivering highly acclaimed, dynamic concerts and educational projects. An alumnus of major young artist schemes including Snape Maltings Chamber Music in Residence, notable appearances include the Wigmore Hall, Culture & Convention Centre Lucerne, and an ‘In Tune’ BBC Radio 3 broadcast.
