Join us for a FREE family day celebrating Manchester’s medieval history.
Explore the Medieval Quarter on a walking tour, meet birds of prey, browse specialist stalls for food, drink and crafts, enjoy music from the Manchester Troubadours, and watch live demonstrations of medieval life by historical re-enactors Historia Normannis. You can also try your hand at scriptorium, while younger visitors can decorate their own sword and shield.
Hosted in partnership with the University of Manchester and Manchester Cathedral, the Faire takes place from 11am to 4pm on Saturday 26 September. Entry is free, just turn up on the day. Library tours will also be available to book for £8.50 per person, subject to availability.
