Manchester’s Medieval Faire returns to Chetham’s Library this September!
Join us in celebrating Manchester’s fascinating medieval history with a FREE day of fun for all the family. Take a walking tour of the Medieval Quarter, meet birds of prey, browse stalls from specialist vendors, and enjoy live demonstrations of life in the medieval era. Historical re-enactors from Historia Normannis will bring the sights and sounds of the Middle Ages to life.
The Faire is hosted in partnership with the University of Manchester and Manchester Cathedral. It will run from 11am to 4pm on Saturday 26 September.
Entry is free – simply show up at the gate! It will also be possible to book tours of the library on the day at a cost of £8.50 per person on a first come, first served basis.
