There are fewer stories more heartfelt and inspiring in music than Brad’s. Though only at the beginning of a promising career, there have been enough peaks and troughs that would discourage the most hardened artists. Growing up initially in Bootle, a working-class suburb of Liverpool, a problematic family situation led to Brad and his twin brother being placed into foster care at the age of seven. In this more stable environment, Brad’s natural gift of music was given room to blossom.
After coming through this early adversity, Brad found himself living on the streets after turning eighteen. Drifting around Liverpool, Brad was filmed playing one of the public pianos in the city centre. This video quickly gained virality and made its way into the hands of ‘The Piano’ producers who urged him to apply. Through a whirlwind of events, this chance occurrence launched Brad Kella’s career into the flourishing success it is today as he went on to be named the winner of ‘The Piano’ by superstar pianists Lang Lang and Mika.
After the TV show victory, Brad’s career has been unstoppable as he signed to Modern Sky Records (Michael Head, The Coral, Jamie Webster), appeared at Classic FM Live at the Royal Albert Hall, sold-out his own show at Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall and is currently supporting and performing with Gary Barlow across the UK on his 2025 tour.
An unbelievable success story, Brad Kella’s talent dazzles everyone he encounters. His self-taught talent is full of vulnerable personality and storytelling from his life. His sound is catchy, timeless and completely authentic. With 2025 set to be his most exciting year yet, Brad Kella is living proof of a dream becoming reality.
