Join us for an evening exploring Chetham’s Library and the treasures of our collection.

Chetham’s Library’s collection is Arts Council designated as of international importance and houses unique and rare books spanning some 800 years. This event is an opportunity to see a range of our exceptional items, some of which were formerly owned by some of the most celebrated figures in human history.

On the evening you will be able to explore the UK’s oldest public Library, sit at the desk where Marx and Engels worked and explore the rooms used by astrologer and alchemist John Dee.

This evening is a taster of events available to Patron’s of Chetham’s Library, which you can read about here.
